I have had this tree for years. It even made a move to a new state with us. My youngest son has pulled some of the leaves off the branches but we still love it. Great for any living room you want to bring life into. The cardboard pot looks realistic and when you have 3 kids knocking it down it’s nice that it doesn’t break.
This 6 foot ficus tree is enhancing a corner of our condo lobby. As you can see, it has found a perfect home. If we had needed the black "skirt" that came with the tree, it would have been helpful for black paper fasteners to be included for putting the skirt together. But we used a pot, so for us, this purchase was perfect!
I have never been a fan of "artifical" plants but now living in a small apartment in Manhatten and travelling extensivly so impossible to keep plants alive. I took a punt and brought this ficus tree and I can honestly say it has transformed our apartment in fact we are about to purchase another one. You would have to examine it very closely to work out if it is a real ficus as the quality of the workmanship is exceptional and of the highest quality. I have seen many ficus trees on the wild and I could not differentiate between them and this one. The leaves are a gorgeous natural colour and grafted on onto the authentic trunk as it it were in the wild. And every visitor to our apartment - first thing they mention is the Vicus tree and how beautiful it is - AND they have all gone and purchased one. If thats not the best reference then I don't know what is. Will be watching this reseller for future products.
The tree is full and sturdy. It is really lovely. The tree is set into a small pot and a "pot skirt' was included. The pot skirt did not meet my requirements and I replaced it with a large pot, setting the tree inside, and using small stones to anchor the tree. Love it.
Purchased this tree to fill a corner in our living room and we are very pleased. The base is black and heavy to balance the tree and keep it upright when there's a breeze flowing through the window and the placement of the branches/leaves give it a nice and full appearance. This tree arrived in a surprisingly slim box that makes you doubt you ordered the right item. But once unboxed and upright you must bend the branches into your desired positions and maybe twist some branches where they're attached at the trunk; it's OK, they're very sturdy.And some reviewers complain that the tree is not the full 6 feet as advertised but that's nonsense. After you unpackage and fully "fluff" the branches and leaves into place it is actually a bit over 6 feet tall. I know because I'm 6' 3" and I can clearly see it's height.My only complaint would be the fancy black cardboard shroud which you can wrap around the base to give it a contemporary appearance. It looks oversized and I think it ruins the overall aesthetics of the tree. This wasn't a big issue as we planned to put this tree into a ceramic pot that matches our decor anyway.Overall a good buy, quality construction, and beautiful accessory. Would definitely buy another one!
I am very satisfied with the purchase of this 6' Ficus Silk tree. Excellent quality tree and mine was the stated 6' height. The branches are made of real wood and loaded with tons of silk leaves. It's very realistic looking and worth the price. I did not bother putting together the Origami styled pot that came with it as it looks very cheap. I will buy a nice ceramic pot for it at a later time.
I bought this to provide some decoration in a large bedroom, where I liked the idea of a plant, but didn't want the maintenance involved with a live one. This tree comes packaged so that all the limbs are folded up, but it is a simple matter to pull them down into place and shape the tree as you wish. The tree looks quite natural. The base is wide enough and heavy enough to provide necessary stability. They provided what was called a pot skirt, but I agree with other reviewers that it is a waste of time. It is basically a piece of cardboard. I threw it out. I had an appropriately sized basket in which to place the tree. Delivery was prompt.
Nervous about buying unseen..love it. Might be an inch or two shorter then 6 ft. I'm 5'8".. to top of me head,just stretch out top branches. Beautiful packing. Wrapped in plastic inside strong cardboard box. Stood it up,unwrapped pot attached to tree. Took off plastic bag then just folded down branches . Quick and easy. Wood is real or very real looking. I recommend buying a 10in diameter or 9 inch decorative planter. Im going to fill my sides with my pennies, just for extra weighing down. Active 3yr old Grandson.
Looked at dozens of silk trees and most were too small, wrong colors, really artificial looking; I wanted something tall, full, and realistic colors; the only thing I would not want is to try to use that "planter"; we have a beautiful Chinese ceramic planter on an Asian wood stool. We placed the tree in it and covered the base with attractive rocks.
It is high quality and I like it. But I thought it was too full/lush in comparison to a live ficus. I pruned some of the leaves to make it look more realistic. I had already purchased a decorative pot so I did not mind that the “pot” sold with the plant is a sheet of plastic that wraps around the base.
